Wiring and fuse questions for my first mod

I am about to build my first mod. I’ve read through the forums a lot but still have some questions/requests for advice on my project. I’m going to be using a dna30 board and I understand what’s going on with it but some of my other choices are a little different from most of the builds I’m seeing listed on here. I’m not using a pre-made box, instead I am custom building my own wooden box. Where I’m needing a little assistance is when it comes to the proper way to wire the connector I’ve selected and the right number and type of fuses for my battery selection. Instead of going with one of the same 510 connectors I’ve seen almost everywhere, I decided to use the top cap from a chi you instead because it has the adjustable center pin. My first question is what would be the best way to wire that in? The second issue I need some advice on is the right type and amount of fuses for my selected battery setup. Just because I wanted to do something a bit different than most everything else I’m seeing in my research, I decide to go with 4 18650’s wired in parallel. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

PSA: Rewiring an EGO Warning

Don’t do it.

I have a 1300mah ego that stopped working. Took it to an electrician friend of mine and he rewired it with better quality wire and it worked good for about 3 days, now it’s dead again.

I took it apart just now and there used to be a piece of rubber that sat on top of the battery, it’s still there was melted. One of the new wires burnt into and there’s melted rubber all inside it now.

Lesson learned, I’m just going to buy a new one.

Pictures Oslo Brussels and Paris 2014

Weather was mostly good, had a few cool days with light mist and a few hot enough for shorts.

Oslo, Norway my first visit here. Very Expensive city.

Opera House.

Help with 15270 batteries

I recently got a Sweet Vape Mini VvF (same as this one: <a href="http://www.woodmods.com/product_p/msvf.htm” target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow”>Mini Sweet Vape variable voltage feeder) The seller gave me lots, and lots of batteries for it. Only a few of them were the correct size to put in two together without needing spacers, random pieces of copper wire, etc. to fit. The ones that fit perfectly are marked as such: UltraFire 15270 600mAh 3.7V Protected Circuit. Problem is, these have been cycled a lot and don’t hold their charge well. The seller also passed along a charger for this – it seems pretty rickety and is an UltraFire, which I seem to remember I’ve read bad things about?

Anyway, I’d like to buy more batteries for this but am totally unclear on which batteries will fit. It seems like the CR2s are the same size? Does the voltage matter since the charger has a switch for both 3 and 3.7? So confused. I can’t even find these exact batteries, and I know that UltraFires are lousy and that if I could find better ones I’d want them anyway. I’d prefer to buy whatever the safest choice is and if they could be charged in my Nitecore IntelliCharger i4, even better (I’m fine with using a spacer in the charger as I never charge unattended and that charger isn’t quite as close to my face as the mod is!)

Thanks so much for any help!

Edited to add: The other sizes they sent me were EH 15270 3.7V 400 mAh (which they used coiled copper wire for as a spacer) and Li-ion 14250 300 mAh 3.7v (which they used a magnet as a spacer for). Am I just being dumb about the spacers? They included them both in the package they sent me…

newb post & quesion: Vape shop sexism?

So I’m pretty new to this. I’ve got about a 1.5 months vaping and just shy of a month off smokes.

My friend gifted me my set up gear (a vamo and a mini protank) and I got fanatically excited about the whole thing. The big piece of advice he gave me was "find a local vape shop, it will be your most important resource".

The closest to me is in a pretty hard to park area and the second closest ones are about an hour away but my partner (who is switching to vaping with me) and I drove up anyhow.

I picked a shop that seemed welcoming and seemed to have decent stock.

My experience was infuriatingly similar to the experience of most girls in comic shops.
Every person who worked there was a guy and every question I (a girl) asked they would look at my partner (a guy) and answer. My partner wasn’t even doing any of the talking, he only went to support me and wasn’t interested in getting anything. I asked about a provari and the guy "helping" me pulled it out of the case and handed it to my partner saying "check out the machining on those threads man".

It totally turned me off vape shops. Is this normal?

i got my 2 juices but…

1. do i need to steep them? (im assuming about 1 week to steep.)

2. how many steps are there to steep?

3. whats dripping tip? (if thats the correct term for it.)
